Basking in the glorious sunshine, the port of Istanbul lies on the edge of the Golden Horn waterway, which flows throughout the iconic city. The port is decorated in landmarks such as the 5th century Galata Tower.
Port Botany, Sydney, Australia.
Located in Botany Bay, Port Botany is the home of the largest container facility in the whole of New South Wales, Australia. The sport looks over the bay to Towra Point Nature Reserve and renowned National Park, Kamay. Not far from idyllic sandy beaches, we could not leave Port Botany off our list!

Known as the city on water, Venice port has become a gateway for Europe to trade with Asia due to its prime location on the edge of the Adriatic. The commercial port in Venice is located across the water from Venice island in Porto Maghera, the industrial area of Venice. We had to put this one on our list due to its uniqueness!
